Early Bascinet with movable Nasal visor with Riveted Aventail, Size L

This helmet is one of the earliest types of Bacinets from the early 14th century. The close relation to the Secret is obvious. The large nasal can be unhooked. Handbeaten out of two halfs of 2 mm (14 gauge) steel. With an adjustable spider style leather liner with chinstrap. The avantail is made of riveted chainmail.

The picture shows a butted aventail! This version´comes with a riveted one (round ring round rivet, all rings riveted, Code 8)
